Larry Jackson 1948 – 2018 Larry Vance Jackson, 70, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. He was born in Winnsboro, SC, on February 3, 1948 he has resided in Pensacola, FL for 39 years. Larry served his country proudly in the U.S. Army as a Vietnam Veteran. He is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Jackson and sister, Margarett Jackson. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Madeline Jackson; daughters, Connie (Robby) Freeman, Christie (Erik) Bell, Rebecca Scogins; grandchildren, Amanda (Shane) Morgan, Olivia (Sean) Miller, Sabrina Bell, Mitchell Jernigan, David Jernigan, Hannah Bell, Brenda Jernigan, Noah Bell and Austin Freeman; great-grandchildren, Zoe Morgan, Teagen Miller and Layla Morgan; mother, Doris Jackson; brother, Oscar (Debbie) Jackson Jr., sisters, Donna (Eric) Murphy, Nettie Jackson, Jo Ellen Trueblood and Rhonda (Lynn) Atkins and a host of relatives and friends. Memorial service will be at West Pensacola Baptist Church, 5213 West Jackson Street, Pensacola, FL, 10:00 a.m.
