Darryl is survived by three children: Jessica Bishop (Eddie), Darryl Boyd, Jr., and Lisa Boyd. Darryl has twelve grandchildren: Weston and McKenzie Bishop, Kiersten, Gabby, Dakota, Dawson, Kamden, Darryl III, Luke Boyd, Kylie Boyd (deceased), and Jacob and Kayla Lewis. Darryl is survived by four brothers: Jerry, Gary, Doug, and Tony Boyd; and one sister, Sharon Blankenship. Darryl was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He is preceded in death by his mother, Rose Mary Boyd; his father, Chester Boyd; and granddaughter, Kylie Boyd. Darryl was a retired coal miner, working in the coal mining industry for thirty years.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Service will be Monday, November 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
