Linda Gail Cain Martines, 70, of Crestview, Florida went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 19, 2018.

She was born November 20, 1947 in Cairo, Georgia to the late Alto VeLee Cain and Ethel Doris Lane Cain.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael VeLee Martines.

She is survived by one brother, Ralph Cain; son, Joel Kevin Martines; and two grandsons, Chad Austin Martines and Dayne VeLee Martines. Linda also has several cousins and spoke often of the two from Georgia, Rebecca Tomlinson and Ruth Solarz as well as many other extended family members and friends.

Linda graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 1965 and Christ For the Nations Institution Bible College in Dallas, Texas. She was a Christian educator, teaching at Rocky Bayou Christian School and Gateway Academy from 1992 until she retired in 2013.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Shalimar United Methodist Church: 1 Old Ferry Road, Shalimar Fl., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
