Anita Darlene Warr, 88, of Pensacola, passed away on January 18, 2021.
Anita was born in Pensacola to Vern and Darlene Meacham on September 22, 1932. She graduated from Beaver Fall High School, in Pennsylvania. Anita worked at Monsanto for 10 years. Then she worked her way through business school for accounting and income tax after being widowed. She owned her own business for years.
Anita loved family get togethers. She loved cooking Christmas Divinity and cookies, then she shared it with family and friends. Anita loved crocheting gifts for family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Warr; her parents, Vern and Darlene Meacham; brothers, Randall Meacham and Lonnzo Meacham; sister, Bernice Hunter.
Anita is survived by her sister, Grace McKinney; brother, Charles (Geraldine) Meacham; her daughters, Debra Ard and Terri Myrick; her sons, Rusty Prosser, Ricky (Elaine) Prosser, and Philip (Gloria) Warr. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
We will have a Special Viewing for Family only due to COVID – 19 restrictions.
We will have a Memorial Service at a later date.
