Obituary for Anthony Travis Grim

Anthony Travis Grim went to walk alongside the Lord on April 6, 2021. Anthony was born on November 15, 1973 in Pensacola, Florida to Richard Grim and Alice Roberts.

Anthony was an extraordinary man. He was a family man that loved his family more than anything. He loved to work on projects and having cook outs. He could walk in a room and make anyone laugh. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides; aunts; uncles and cousins.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Kelly Grim; daughters, Rebecca (Kody) Wood, Courtney (Devon) Grim; sons, James (Emma) White, Albert Roberts; parents, Richard Grim and Alice Roberts; brothers, Richard (Krystal) Grim, Scotty Grim; sisters, Dellie Roberts and Madalin Roberts; his fur baby that was considered his daughter, Zoey; nieces, Shae Grim and her children, Zaiden, Laylahna, Alyssa Grim and her two children Ah’rya and Princeton, McKenzie Shiver and her children, Kenneth, Lachlan and Christopher and Daelyn Fine; nephew, Corey Grim and his son, Kaisen and Daniel Fine.

A few words from Anthony’s daughter,
I honestly never understood the effects of cancer not only to your loved ones but to your family as a whole, it has been so hard watching my father who is our provider- shoulder to cry on, number one cheerleader and our joy. Seeing him hurt and knowing there is nothing we can do to help affects you in so many ways. I know many people say that they have the best father in the world. However, I could argue for days how my dad truly is. Not only has he raised his two children, but he also adopted and helped raise his cousins. My father has helped raise many children. He loves and cares for them as his own. He is such a selfless man and I honestly wish I could take his place. The world needs more people like my father. We can not wait till we meet again.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in May and the family will post details when the time gets closer.
