Obituary for April Moreno McKenzie
April Moreno McKenzie, 50, of Pensacola, FL and her husband, William “Joe” McKenzie passed away on June 1, 2022 at their home. April was born on March 17, 1972 to Diego and Janiece Moreno.
She attended Edgewater Elementary School, Warrington Middle School, and graduated from Pine Forest High School. She worked in Probate Court for 12 years.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Moreno and Pippin.
April is survived by her daughter, Micaela Diane Lavigne and son, Christopher Allen Lavigne, Jr; brother, Wes (Karla) Moreno; parents, Diego and Janiece Moreno; nephews, Nick (Erika) Moreno and Justin (Jordan) Moreno.
April left an impact on everyone she met throughout her life and will be dearly missed. She had a smile and laugh that was contagious to everyone around her and always made your day a little brighter.
A memorial service for April and Joe McKenzie will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, 60 Industrial Blvd, at 3:00 pm.
