Augusta (Boots) Taylor, 82, of Pensacola, FL passed away peacefully on January 15, 2021 surrounded by family.
Boots is preceded in death by her husband, William Daniel (W.D.) Taylor; son, Daniel Cleveland (Danny) Taylor; granddaughter, Tasha Marie Taylor; great granddaughter, Mikayla Lynn Williams; mother, Vivian Gideons; father, Melton Gideons; brothers, David Gideons, Sherman Gideons, and Thomas (Boy) Gideons; sisters, Marylee Rockwell, Joyce Taylor, and Evelyn Harris.
Boots leaves behind daughter, Wanda (Rod) Shuttleworth; sons, Travis Taylor, Bryan (Terrie) Taylor; sister-in-law, Violet Manning; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and many other family and friends that love and cherish her.
Boots and Violet Manning were part of the Southern Belles of Belles Head.
Boots will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Boots service will be at Trahan Family Funeral Home (60 Industrial BLVD. Pensacola, FL 32503). Starting with a visitation Sunday January 17, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Monday January 18, 2021 we will celebrate the Life of Boots with her service beginning at 12:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Jordan Cemetery in Cantonment, FL following her service.
