Obituary for Barbara Ann Burgett
Barbara Burgett, known to most of her friends and family as Ann, was born May 10th, 1965 in Milton Florida. She was adopted as an infant by her loving parents, Morris "Jim" Vaughn and Gladys Vaughn.
A lifelong resident of Santa Rosa County, Barbara attended Milton High School until she married Byron Burgett in 1982. Barbara worked in a few different careers over the years, but she was mostly happy as a homemaker. She found the most happiness spending time with friends and family and attending church when her health allowed. After a long battle with illness, she was called home on the 21st of April 2023.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother Adam Vaughn, and Son-In-Law Travis Boswell.
She is survived by her loving husband Byron Burgett of 40 years, her daughters Barbara Boswell of Milton and Wendy Burgett and husband Kyle Tretter of Crestview, and her sister Leslie Vaughn.
Visitation will be at 11:00AM with service to follow at 12:00PM on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton. She will be laid to rest at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
