Obituary for Betty Ann Swope
Betty Anne Swope, 74, passed away peacefully in her home on January 12, 2023, in Seminole, Alabama. Betty was born in Pensacola, Florida to John Camden Lindsey and Hattie Bea Trehern Milstid. Betty married her husband Robert Swope in 1968 and had their son, James Swope in 1971 and then a daughter Teresa (Tracy) Swope in 1986. She worked in Walmart for 10+ years. She enjoyed doing puzzles and watching “Little House on the Prairie” and “The Waltons”. She loved her children and granddaughter very much. She will be greatly missed.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Swope; and son, James Swope.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Tracy) Swope; granddaughter, Brittany; and significant other, Joe Thrasher.
The service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Trahan Family Funeral Home on 60 Industrial Blvd. Pensacola, FL at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will start at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow the service at Holy Cross Cemetery.
