Billy Wayne Tolleson
April 20, 1951 – April 29, 2022
Billy Wayne Tolleson, 71, of Pensacola, FL went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, April 29, 2022. He was born in Atlanta, Texas to his parents, Olen Calvin and Mae Ellouise Tolleson.
Billy spent his childhood in Marshall and Garland Texas. While in elementary school, his dad was transferred to Lake Butler, FL. He graduated from Union County High School in 1969, Lake City Forest Ranger University in 1971, and UWF in 1973 with a BS in Computer Science. While attending UWF he was hired on with Monsanto.
One of Billy’s favorite places to eat was Tastee Freeze at Davis Highway and 9 Mile Road, where he met his loving wife, Becky. They were married on November 13, 1976, at Ferry Pass Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL.
Billy was a husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a man of God and a member of Olive Baptist Church.
Billy is preceded in death by both his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Slaey Tolleson; his three children, William J. (Melissa) Tolleson, Calvin (Katelin) W. Tolleson, and Cassandra L. Tolleson; grandchildren, Brandon, Cody, Trey, Liam, Olivia (Morgyn) , William R., and Daniel; his siblings, Joe Tolleson and Kathleen Speed; as well as other relatives and many friends.
He will be missed by many, and we will carry his memories with us always.
