Obituary for Debra Lynn "Debbie" Zackowski

Debra (Debbie) Lynn Chavers Zackowski, 60, of Milton, FL, passed away on July 20, 2014.
Debbie was born in Andalusia, AL on January 27, 1954. She was married to Steven Tyrone Zackowski on November 7, 1992; they were married 22 years.
Debbie worked her entire life in the medical field. She started her career as a counselor at the mental health hospital. After working as a counselor, she was a podiatrist assistant for several years. Debbie then began working at Brook’s Chiropractic Clinic as an assistant. When not working, Debbie enjoyed spending time watching Alabama football and working with her flowers.
Debbie is survived by her father, A.G. [wife, Chiquita]; sister, Missy Sowell [husband, Terry]; brother, Jeff Chavers; nieces and nephews, Ashlie Sowell Abbott [husband, Ryan], Tiffany Sowell Bonner [husband, Chris], Brandon Chavers, Kristen Ramos, Daniel Ramos.
Debbie is preceded in death by her mother, Norma Mae Chavers.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm at First Apostolic Church of Milton. Pastor Larry Webb and Pastor James Copeland will be officiating. Friends will be welcomed for visitation at 2:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow the funeral at Serenity Gardens in Milton. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Trahan Family Funeral Home in Pensacola.
The family wishes to thank all of the friends and family that have gathered around them to support them during this difficult time. Your prayers and presence have been a blessing to us all.
