Brenda “Bea” Wright Erhardt was called to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the age of 64.
She is predeceased by her mother, Mable Tolbert Wright, father Kenneth Joseph Wright, Sr., mother-in-law Delores Gilmore, father-in-law J.W. Gilmore, sister-in-law Debbie Erhardt Hopkins, and brother-in-law Jimmy Gilmore.
She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 43 years, Sammy Erhardt, brothers Kenny Wright and Eddie (Keristen) Wright, sister Kathy Wright LaMontagne, Aunt Diane Zuccarelli, brother-in-law Davy (Melinda) Erhardt, sister-in-law Joyce (Jerry) Powell, sister-in-law Carla (Charlie) White, brother-in-law Dale (JJ) Gilmore, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Brenda was a member of Pine Terrace Baptist Church and a longtime resident of the Pleasant Home Community. She retired from Crestview Aerospace as a Human Resources Coordinator. She was a loving wife who took great joy in the care of her husband and family.
Brenda enjoyed sharing her favorite Christian songs, Bible verses, and inspirational quotes. Alan Jackson’s, “How Great Thou Art” was a favorite. She walked with the Lord daily and could always be counted on to help others in need, whether it was sharing a meal, an encouraging word, a quick laugh, or a hug.
She could always be found with her favorite pup, Buddy, who was her constant companion and then later, when her sweet fur baby Bella joined the family as well. As anyone who ever visited Aunt Bea knows, she welcomed all into her home and made them feel as if they had always belonged. Her infectious laugh and quick wit kept those around her highly entertained and wanting more. Brenda used her God-given gift of hospitality to mother many of her nieces, nephews, and neighbors, which is a legacy that will continue to live on for years to come.
Brenda’s prayer was that all her family and friends would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior as she did and experience the soul cleansing blood of Christ and assurance of eternity spent in Heaven with God’s redeemed.
Visitation and life celebration will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Pleasant Home Baptist Church. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00, and service begins at 11:00 with Interment following at Pleasant Home Church Cemetery. Brother Charles White and Brother Wes Mathews will lead the services.
