Obituary for Carolyn Ann Sweeting

Carolyn Ann Sweeting, 82, went home to be with the Lord December 26, 2022.

Carolyn was born November 11, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York to Leonard and Jeanie Visconti and came to Pensacola, Florida at the age of 14 years old. Later, she married her husband Floyd T. Sweeting, Jr. She was a loving mother, wife, homemaker, and lifetime member of Little Flower Catholic Church where she enjoyed managing the bookstore for many years.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers, Sonny and Charlie.

Carolyn is survived by son, Floyd T. Sweeting, III; daughter, Christina Walther (Jana); grandson, Josh Walther; son, Tom Sweeting (Mary Jo); granddaughter, Anna Maria, and grandson, Ian Sweeting; daughter, Lisa Iosco (Dave); grandsons, Matthew (Alyssa), and Eric Iosco; granddaughter, Sarah Ratliff (David); great- granddaughter, Lilly; son, David Sweeting; granddaughters, April Sweeting; great granddaughter Mia; and great grandson, Junior; Ashley Sweeting; great- grandsons, Lincoln and Luke; daughter, Angie Campion (Jimmy); granddaughter, Cathleen Campion; and grandson, Ryan Campion; son, Danny Sweeting (Kara Lea); granddaughters, Cameron and Liza Sweeting.

The visitation will start at 10:30a.m. following with the service at 11:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church. Interment is to Holy Cross Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. There will be a reception following at Little Flower Catholic Church.
