Charles Lee Harper
April 10, 1949 – April 8, 2022


Charles Lee Harper, 72, of Pensacola, Florida went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2022. Charles was born on April 10, 1949 in Mobile, Alabama to James and Mary Harper.

Charles was a hard-working man. He worked at Baptist Hospital for 38 years in plant operations where he built cabinets, hanging doors and etc.. He loved fishing and going to NASCAR races. He was a volunteer at Fort Pickens National Seashore. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Harper; brothers, Donald F. Harper, Wayne E. Harper and Jessie W. Harper.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Kathleen Wainwright Harper; daughter, Julie A. Harper; son, Charles (Julie) Harper; sister, Glinda Bonzagni; brothers, Ray Harper and Terry (Denise) Harper; grandson, Brandon Whetstone and Tyler Nunnelley; granddaughter, Cierra Verhoest; great grandchildren, Brayden, Jayden and Grayson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a sincere thank you to Sacred Heart Hospital, Baptist Hospital, Dr. Robert Flurry, P.A. Brittany Whitman and Dr. John Wade.

We will be Celebrating Charles’s life on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Trahan Family Funeral Home. The family will be accepting friends for the viewing at 6:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 7:00 p.m.
