Obituary for Christina Marie "Nina" Buttery
Christina Marie Buttery, age 34, passed away on December 21, 2022 in Georgia. She was born to Deborah Pitts King and Stephen R. Buttery on February 18, 1988, in Houston, Texas.
Christina grew up in the Florida panhandle with her beloved sister, Alicia. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Christina eventually moved to Georgia, where she developed many longtime friendships, which meant the world to her. She also had a big place in her heart for her pets, Pig and Junior.
Nina never met at stranger and always made everyone feel included and validated. Her warm smile and eyes made you feel special. Five minutes with Christina would make your day.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Alicia Pitts; maternal grandparents, Clinton and Mabel Pitts; and her paternal grandfather, Eddie Buttery.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Deborah and stepfather, Johnnie King; father, Stephen Buttery; niece, Alexis Smith; nephews, Xavier Gower and Damon Blackmon; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Nina was loved by so many people. We want to acknowledge these people in her life that considered her a friend.
Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 4 – 6:00 p.m. there will be a visitation at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. There will be a graveside service for her at Serenity Gardens Cemetery on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
