Obituary for Cloise Robert Lee

Robert Cloise Lee, 83, was born on February 16, 1939, in Pensacola, Florida, to Cloise Robert Lee, Sr., and Hazel Aline Wiseman.

Robert “Bob” Lee, graduated from Pensacola High School in 1958, where his passion for sports developed as a valued team member of the football, basketball, and baseball teams. After graduating, Bob joined the United States Air Force. Bob returned to Pensacola and began his civilian career. For almost 40 years, he worked as a sales consultant for many of the area’s most reputable dealerships: Vince Whibbs Automotive Group, Jack Lee Buick, Hill-Kelly Dodge, eventually retiring from Centennial Imports. Bob’s career cultivated hundreds of cherished relationships. His customers were the driving force of his extended tenure in the industry. Amidst the span of his professional career, Bob loved and gifted his time to coaching youth sports at Bellview Ballpark and then as a freshman football coach at Catholic High School. Additionally, Bob was a longstanding member of Charity Chapel, a Christian church in the heart of the Bellview community. Bob loved all sports and could be found most Wednesdays and Sundays on the golf course at Scenic Hills Country Club, but nothing brought him greater joy than being a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. After his wife, Mildred (mother of Ouida Lee Biggs), passed in 1988, Bob married Ebbie Daughtery and would have celebrated their thirty-fourth wedding anniversary next month. Collectively, the history of both unions merged into a large, blended family, which will deeply be impacted by the physical loss of their husband, Dad, and Papa. Bob’s one-in-a-million personality leaves behind countless wonderful memories that will comfort his family and friends for years to come.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Cloise Lee, mother, Hazel Boyden, and stepfather, Eugene Boyden; siblings: Mary Aline Lee, Jimmy Lee, William Lee, Richard Lee, and Patricia Lee; and his first spouse, Mildred Hall Lee.

Bob is survived by his wife, Ebbie Lee; siblings: Michael Lee (Kathy), and Mary Utterback (Randy); children: Ouida Biggs (Gary), Lyn Hice (Ray), Susan Wiggins (Kevin), Frank Jernigan (Kris), Rick Daughtery, Joe Daughtery (Lisa), and Dan Daughtery; his greatest loves, grandchildren: Kaytee Turley (Bobby), Bobby Barnhart (Sarah), Gage Biggs, Addison Biggs, Corey Daughtery, Brenna Vallarino (Anthony), Rachel Stevenson (Tim), Kelley Hayes (James), Josh Hice (Kim), Tanner Hice, Carmen Vasquez, Casey Hice, Morgan Jernigan, Gavin Jernigan, Kelsey Daughtery, and Tyler Daughtery; and great-grandchildren: Payton and Brogan Turley, Graham Barnhart, Blake, Brody, and Declan Daughtery, Roman, Griffin, and Vaughn Vallarino; Harper and Leni Hayes, Luke, Joah, Shiloh, Eva, Levi, and Hank Hice; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

In the comfort of his home, and loving care of his wife, Bob entered the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven on May 19, 2022.

Trahan Family Funeral Home will host a public visitation on May 26, 2022, 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm, with a memorial service immediately following. A formal procession will be escorted to Pensacola Memorial Gardens for a graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Barnhart, Gage Biggs, Bobby Turley, Rick Daughtery, Corey Daughtery, and Randy Utterback.
