Danny Houston, 72, of Pensacola, Florida passed away at his home on August 25, 2022. He was born in Pensacola, Florida to his parents, Joe Houston and Dorothy Sunday Houston. He and his mother shared the same birthday, June 19, and they were very close.
Danny had a diverse military career. He was in the Air Force for four years and bravely served in Thailand and Vietnam. After serving in the Air Force, he joined the Alabama Air National Guard, where he proudly served for almost 30 years as a crew chief on F-4’s, F-16’s and a C-130.
After retiring, he and his wife Patty enjoyed traveling all over the United States from Key West to Canada in their RV. He loved visiting and getting to know the other campers.
He also enjoyed hunting, cooking, LOVED fishing, boating and gardening.
Danny is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patty and their little Yorkie, Ellie Mae; son, Joe (Christy); granddaughter, Lauren (Michael); and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Jerry (Louann) and sister, Linda Shutze (Eddie).
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the love, support, calls, texts, food delivered, hugs, prayers, and everything you all have done.
