The Late Deacon Jimmie L. Patterson was born on September 3, 1941, in Greenville, Al. He departed this life on May 30, 2021, in Pensacola, Fl. Jimmie was a graduate of Greenville High School In 1958.
Jimmie joined the Harrison Street Baptist Church in Greenville, AL at an early age. He later joined the Rising Star Primitive Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL where he served as a Deacon and remained a faithful Trustee. He was one of the original founding members of The Sensational Echoes of Pensacola, FL where he remained a member until their disbursement. Jimmie retired from Exxon Oil Company In Jay, FL after 27 years
Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, Cliff and Pearl Patterson Atkins; two wives, Flora Stone Patterson Hogan and Georgia Sutton Patterson; two sisters, Eddie Pearl Patterson Smith and Priscilla Patterson Gulley; one brother, Eddie Lee Patterson; two sons, Roderick Patterson and D’Angelo Patterson.
He leaves to mourn his memory, one sister, Lillie Pearl Patterson Grant; one brother, William Joseph Patterson and a blended family of children, Jimmy (Sylvia) Patterson, Deborah (David) Patterson Perkins, Kelvin (Sharon) Patterson, Pamela Patterson Hayes, LaTonga Patterson Reed, Joyce Patterson, Angela (Ramon) Patterson Williams, Yuvonka (Henry) Patterson, Monique Webster Lewis, Jimmie Patterson Jr., Betty Sutton, Gaysha Devaughn, Sharon Whatley McCarty, Nina Whatley (Deceased), Melvin and Courtney Whatley; more than fifty grandchildren, countless great grandchildren & great great grandchildren.
