Obituary for Deborah Kay Robertson-Hackman

Debbie (Williams) Robertson-Hackman, 62, of Pensacola, passed away on November 11, 2022 surrounded by family and friends after a ten year battle with health issues. Debbie was born in Champaign, IL to parents Jerry and Jody Dickey.

Debbie grew up in Pensacola and loved spending time with her siblings. She graduated from Pine Forest High School, class of '78. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters, enjoying the sunshine and the beach.

She spent the majority of her career working as a realtor in Gulf Breeze. She became the first basketball cheerleading commissioner for Gulf Breeze Sports Association ('92); participated in several volunteer and outreach events including events throughout the community.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Jody Dickey; and her husband, Jim Robertson.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Dane Hackman; daughter, Tina (Steve) Likovetz (children: Hannah, Nathan, Megan); Daughter: Cheryl (Blake) Kindig (children: Blake Jr., Caleb, Chloe); Sister, Brenda Imlay; brothers, Greg (Charlene) Dickey and Steve (Julia) Dickey.

Debbie was a ray of sunshine who was always smiling and full of joy. She helped out anyone if she was able to and always tried to leave everyone she met feeling better.

A service will be held on Wednesday, November 16th 2022 at Liberty Church - Gulf Breeze Campus, 6006 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563. Visitation will be begin at 9 a.m. with the service to follow at 10 a.m. The family is asking that guests wear “Costal and colorful” attire in honor of Debbie’s love for the beach.
