Obituary for Delilah A McKinnon
Delilah Aida “Dee” McKinnon, 44, of Fort Walton Beach, FL passed away on July 1, 2022 at 12:20 p.m. She was born in Fort Walton Beach, FL to her parents Adela McKinnon and Robert McKinnon.
Today, our hearts are broken as we all mourn the loss of our beloved older sister, daughter and mother. Her bright light and big heart left us too soon, but we will remember her warmth, love and generosity.
At the age of 22, she had her first-born son and at 23 she was blessed with her beautiful twin girls. Delilah always wanted to be a cook and a nurse because she wanted to take care of everyone. Delilah was a blessing to everyone she came in contact with.
Although Delilah could not have a career, she was a very proud mother to all four of her kids.
She is preceded in death by Junita Betancourt and Agapito Rivera.
Delilah is survived by Mateo McKinnon, age 23, Tamara Hernandez, age 21, Kayla Hernandez, age 21, Jahquez Jones, age 18, Adela McKinnon, Jasmine Smith Josie Ortiz, James Rivera, Robert McKinnon, Becky Calhoun, Ricky Nettles, Robert Nettles, Kalyn McKinnon.
A Funeral Service for Delilah will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. The public visitation will start at 11:00 a.m. with the service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Trahan Family Funeral Home.
