Obituary for Donald Fred McCoy
Donald Fred McCoy, 70, went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 21, 2021. He was born February 14, 1951 to his parents, Donald Christian McCoy and Georgia Porter, in Iowa City, Iowa.
Donald spent a lot of time on the farm. He loved to hunt, fish and could fix anything with a motor. He was an Army Veteran and an auto mechanic.
Donald was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald C. McCoy; mother, Violet McCoy; and sister, Cindy Aman.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Theresa (Fredrick) Steele and Christina (Ross) McCoy; sons, Donald (Heather) McCoy and Michael McCoy; grandchildren, Laurie and Donald McCoy, with five other grandsons and one granddaughter; and many other relatives and friends.
Donald loved watching old Westerns and spending time with his dog and companion Brownie.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Barrancas National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
