Donnie C. Sanders, 67, went home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2021. Donnie was born on November
17,1953 in Greenville, South Carolina to Wilburn C. Sanders and Elizabeth June Sanders.
Donnie moved to Pensacola, Florida when he was one year old. He graduated from Tate High School in
1972.
Donnie spent many years in construction and was an exceptional painter. He worked by the
motto "caulk and paint. Make it what it ain't." Donnie was a big Florida Gator and Green Bay Packer
fan. He enjoyed watching football games alongside his twin brother. Donnie will be remembered by his
big heart.
Donnie is proceeded in death by his parents, Wilburn & Elizabeth Sanders; his sister, Stephanie Victoria
Parker and Cousin, Vickie Marie Burnham.
Those left to cherish his memories are his son, Steven (Kate) Sanders; daughter, Summer (Collin) Hall;
brother, Ronald (Gayle) Sanders; sisters, Diane Griffith, Deborah (Tim) Peterson; eight Grandsons, Aiden,
Brennan, Trotter, Caden, Hudson, Easton, Chasen and Tristan and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on April 27, 2021 at Trahan Family Funeral Home in Pensacola. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be David Parker, William Parker, Ronnie Sanders, Mike Griffith, Ryan Sanders and
Matthew Parker.
