Doris Ann Lake, 78, of Pensacola went home to be with the Lord November 26, 2022. She grew up and graduated from Charleston High School in Charleston, West Virginia before moving to Pensacola, Florida, where it is warmer.
Doris was a very loving person and always wanted to take care of everyone around her. She loved being with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Doris is preceded in death by parents, Garnet Doyle Johnson Sr., and Bethel Claire Johnson; sister, Mildred Childress; brother, Garnet Doyle Johnson Jr.; daughter, Leslie Torrance; and several nieces and nephews.
Doris is survived by daughter, Sandra Bourassa (Ben), Sherry Compton, ex son in law, Jon Compton; sister, Betty Moore (Danny) and Evelyn Stefanik; grandchildren, Andy Arbogast, Carlie Stauffer (Mark), Mason Compton (Megan), Savanna Torrance, Jacquie Blackhurst (Kristen), Joseph Blackhurst, Wyatt Torrance, and Dalton Engle; great-grandchildren, Andrew Arbogast, Logan Arbogast, Kollins Compton, Noraleigh Compton, Gregory McDonald, Stevie Lake Torrance, Gandie Engle, Amitty, Corbyn, Anastasia, and; special friends, Diane Eslava, Denver and Susie Whittaker, Kay Mitchell, Sissy Shamblin, and Holly Gallopo; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
