Obituary for Doyle Madison Caudell

It is with great sadness that the family of Doyle Madison Caudell, Jr. announce his passing on Monday January 16, 2023, at the age of 57 after a relatively brief battle with dementia.
Doyle was born in Milton, Florida in 1965 to the late Doyle Madison Sr and Joyce Caudell. He lived in Milton his entire life, spending countless days out on Blackwater River fishing, relaxing, or out on his property, “Caudell Hill”, deer hunting.
Doyle was known to all who met him as dedicated, hardworking, and at times (affectionately), a busy body. He worked for decades as a heavy machine operator in and around Santa Rosa County. You would often see him at the job site outworking everyone else there. Doyle took great pride in the life that he was able to live and thoroughly enjoy with his loved ones. Doyle will be remembered dearly by those who loved him as Big D, Gentle Giant, Protector, Lover, Moonpie, and occasionally Pig Farmer. While he will be missed greatly, the love he had for his family and the countless funny stories he told will live with us for many years.
Doyle is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Caudell; his two sons, Michael (wife Jennifer, children Savannah, Dylan, Brooklynn), and Doyle III; and two stepsons, Jakob Heath (wife Amanda, and children Brayden and Kinley), and Joey Heath (wife Mary, and daughter Katie Jo). Doyle also leaves behind his four sisters, Dorene Lewis, Stacy Blackwell, Doylene Caudell, and Brenda Martin.
Services for Doyle will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton on Saturday, January 19, 2023, at 4:30 pm for visitation, and funeral service at 5:30 pm.
