Obituary for Edith Faye Lewis
Edith Faye Lewis, 72, of Pensacola, passed away at 12:35 pm, Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Covenant Care Inpatient Hospice at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL. She was born October 18, 1950 in Pensacola, FL to John Albert and Rosa Pauline Harrison.
Edith graduated from West Lauderdale High School in May of 1968 in Collinsville, MS. She loved sitting outside watching the birds and squirrels come and feast on snacks she put out for them. She had hobbies of painting, coloring and learning to play instruments.
She was preceded in death by her father; mother; brothers, Albert Ray Harrison (her twin) and John Harrison; and sister, Tammy Harrison.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela (Pat) Melvin of Pace, FL; her son, Paul (Angela) Fountain of Collinsville, MS, daughter, Rosa Houston of Pace, FL; sister, Dee Bethany; brothers, Jim (Deb) Harrison, Robert (Lori) Harrison, and Robert Lee (Tina) Harrison; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Trahan Family Funeral Home oversaw Edith’s cremation. Her ashes will be buried beside her twin Albert Ray Harrison in a private service at Bayview Memorial Park in Pensacola, FL.
