Edna Starr Rawlings “Peaches”
July 11, 1950 – March 22, 2021
Edna Starr Rawlings “Peaches” passed away on March 22, 2021. She was born in Fort Knox, KY to her parents Kenneth and Rose Smith. Peaches loved to read and spend time with her family. Peaches loved her children, family, and friends.
She was a CNA for over 25 years. Peaches last job was a Government Service worker at Corry Station Pensacola, FL. Her best friend was Anna, they loved each other and were more like sisters. James and Anna were with her until she took her last breath. Peaches was a helper and tried to help anyone she could. She was a saint of a person, who showed love to everyone. Peaches will be dearly missed.
Peaches is preceded in death by husband, Preston Rawlings; her son, Michael “Biggie” Rawlings; brothers, Kenneth, and Kelly Smith; both her mother and father, Rose and Kenneth Smith.
She is survived by her sons, Dwayne, Dallas, and James Rawlings.

Services will be April 2nd, 2021 at Trahan Family Funeral Home in Pensacola. Her visitation will begin at 12:00 pm, with the service following at 1:00 pm. Peaches will be laid to rest at Whitmire Cemetery after her services.
She always said, “Being kind is Free, and I Love you to the moon and back!”
Peaches favorite color has always been purple.
