Obituary for Eva Joan Slate
Eva Joan Slate, 76, of the Allentown Community, passed away on December 10, 2022 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Century, FL on February 18, 1946 to Wynton and Jean Slate.
Joan was a local hairdresser for 50+ years.
Her loved ones who preceded her in death: parents; sister, Connie Klessig; and two special brothers-in-law, Dennis McCutcheon and David Webb.
Left to mourn her passing are sisters: Delane, Barbara (Cecil), Kay (Dan) and Shannon; many special nieces and nephews; and special friends, Verline and Merna.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 12 noon on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Pineview United Methodist Church, Jay, FL.
Interment will follow at Pineview United Methodist Church Cemetery, Jay, FL.
