Obituary for Floyd G Reynolds

Floyd Gene Reynolds, 87, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on August 18, 2022, at West Florida Hospital.
Floyd was born October 2, 1934, to Bart and Willie Mae Reynolds. He was eldest of four brothers, Charles, Billy, and Dennis: and one sister, Judi.
Floyd graduated from Bastrop High School in Bastrop, Louisiana.
At age 17, Floyd joined the Army National Guard and was active for 34 years. He also worked for Ashley Drew and Northern Railroad for 16 years. In the 1974, Floyd opened Reynolds Auto Body in Pensacola.
Floyd enjoyed working in his yard, breathing new life into old furniture, working in his yard and cooking for church events. He was a member of New Testament Fellowship.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bart and Willie Mae Reynolds; brother, Billy Reynolds; sister, Judi Davis; son, Tommy Arnette.
Floyd is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janet Reynolds; daughter, Holli (Gary) Griffin; sons, Russell Reynolds, Rob (Terri) Arnette, David (Korinne) Arnette, Michael (Terri) Arnette, Ruth (Tommy) Arnette and Melissa (Timothy) Hurd. Grandchildren, Rory (April) Bennett, Adam Bennett, Laura Zacaula, Kathryn Davis, Andrea Arnette, Tyler Arnette, Christine (Kenneth) Hearn, Rusty Arnette, Robby (Gabrielle) Arnette, Jesse Mathews, Rachael (AJ) Echols, Grace Arnette, Tristan Arnette, Bradley (Samantha) Arnette, Garrett Griffin, Conner Griffin and Christian Hurd. Great- grandchildren, Sasha Zacaula, Maya Zacaula, Alice Zacaula, Vincent Hardin, Remy Bennett, Karleigh Bennett, Vivian Hearn, Amelie Hearn, Mable Rose Arnette, Krissy Roten, Briar Griffin, and Garner.
Service will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 at New Testament Fellowship at 812 North W Street. Visitation start at 9:15a.m. following with the service at 10:00a.m. with the internment to Barrancas National Cemetery.
