Frances B. Pelot passed away peacefully at her home in Pensacola, FL on August 28, 2022, at the age of 89 years old. She was born on July 2, 1933, in Grove Hill, Alabama.
Frances was a longtime member of Lakeview Baptist Church as well as Pensacola Baptist Temple. She was secretary and business owner for several years. She spent several years volunteering at Pensacola Police Department and Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Harrison “Pete” Pelot Jr.; father, Clayton F. Bumpers; mother, Pearl Horton.
Frances is survived by her beloved son’s Rick (Christy) Frye and Randy (Angela) Frye. Beloved grandchildren Rickie Frye (LaTisha Harrison), Ashley (Caleb) Odom, Matthew (Katie) Frye and Ashley (David) Messick. Beloved great grandchildren BriAnya E. Frye, Brooklyn G. Frye, and Harper Messick. She is also survived by her extended family.
Viewing will be held on September 6th at 9am at Pensacola Baptist Temple, 5000 Cerny Road, Pensacola with service to follow at 10am.
In lieu of flowers donations to RUFF in Fort Walton Beach, FL, Hotel for Dogs and Cats in Pensacola, or Vistas Hospice can be made in her name.
Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
