Obituary for Gail LaJuan Chambers

Gail LaJuan Chambers, 72, of Pensacola, FL went home to be with Jesus and her awaiting loved ones on Sunday, May 23, 2021. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Mildred and Josiah Paris.

Gail was a very simple woman who never asked for much outside of her yarn. She would fuss if any fuss was made over her. With that being said, we will keep this short and sweet.

Gail was an active member of Journey of Faith where she loved to worship, and door greet. She had a heart to serve the homeless when her health permitted in previous years. Her hobbies were working in her crossword and find a word books. But she mostly enjoyed sewing and crocheting blankets for her family and friends who will forever treasure them. She greatly loved her fur babies, Furby, Bo, Angel, Moo Moo and Bubba. Above all else she prayed and read her Bible. She loved her Jesus.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Josiah Paris and Mildred Hackett; stepfather, Carl Hackett; brother, Joe Paris; husband, Charles Chambers; and her son, Michael Chambers.

Until we are reunited, left to share her memories are daughters, Kathy (Doug) Mott and Melanie (Bobby) Dix; and son, Chris Chambers all of Cantonment, FL; grandkids, Tasha (Robbie) McLaney and Zac (Kayla) Mott all of Molino, FL; Jerah (Ryan) Vise of Grand Bay, AL; Spencer Orem and Matthew Dix, both from Cantonment, FL; great grandkids, Kenzy, Mattie and Jax McLaney, Xander and Xadie Mott, all of Molino, FL; Hannah, Leah, Railee and Ryker Vise of Grand Bay, AL; sister, Lynne (Wayne) Waymire of Maggie Valley, NC; sister-in-law, Kay Paris of Oxford, MS; several nieces; two nephews; as well as several great nieces and nephews; also included are many very close friends that became family over the years.

Gail's Family would like to express how deeply blessed we feel in knowing that she has had an awesome support system surrounding her over the years.

Pall Bearers: Zac Mott, Spencer Orem, Matthew Dix, Robbie McLaney, Will Davis, and Byron Hubble.
