Obituary for Gerald Joseph Pafenberg
Gerald Joseph (Joe) Pafenberg of Gulf Breeze, FL died peacefully at home on March 1, 2023. He was 91 years old. He was under hospice care and Shauna Davis, his caregiver and friend of 12 years, was at his side.
Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Meta Maria Pafenberg, who died in 2011. Joe was the youngest child of his parents, Guy Pafenberg and Cora Wray. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Forrest Pafenberg, Roy Pafenberg, Dale Pafenberg and Carolyn Pafenberg Davis. He is survived by many nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.
A memorial service will be in early summer in Norman, Indiana. Joe will be interred next to his wife Meta, in the family cemetery in Brownstown, Indiana.
