Obituary for Harold "Dean" Carter
Harold ‘Dean’ Carter, 61, of Milton sadly passed away on April 25th, 2023.
Dean, as he was known to all his family and friends, spent his life living and working hard, with a ‘no bones about it’ attitude that left you knowing exactly how he felt and where you stood. Whether at work or at play, Dean had a passion and admiration for all things outdoors and an undying love for music. Those of us that knew him the best knew the caring, honest and gentle soul with a generous heart that loved completely and unconditionally asking for little or nothing in return.
He was predeceased by his parents Cecil and Janet Carter; and brother, Jerry Carter.
He is survived by his wife Laurie; brother, Bill Carter (Janet); sisters Pamela Lewis and Barbara Kay Carter; children, Jessica Edwards (Scott) and Jason Carter; and grandchildren, Hunter and Emily Edwards.
As per Dean’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
A gathering of friends and family for a celebration of his life and memory will be announced at a later date.
