James A. Moore, 88, of Milton passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 12, 2022. He was born on May 31, 1934 to Jim and Minerva Moore in Dyer, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Moore; one sister; and two brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memory Rhonda (Robert) Rogers, Jimmie (Frank) Melvin, and Cindy M. Collins; six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, Pearl Wilkinson; one brother, Jerry Moore; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon until the funeral service begins at 1:00 p.m. all on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Faith Chapel Assembly of God, 8080 S. Airport Rd., Milton, FL 32583. Burial will follow at Memory Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Bobby Rogers, Josh Rogers, Josh Strickland, Brody Rogers, Jay Durst, and Junior Gonzales.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all his wonderful doctors: military ones; Dr. Martha Stewart; Dr. Maged Nashed; Dr. P.K. Garg; and his always doctor, Dr. Bach ye Lethi. We were also truly blessed with the loving care of Emerald Coast Hospice , especially Hilary and Jimiah; You meant the world to Daddy.
James loved his family, friends, music, and community; but especially his family. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
