James “Phillip” Burke passed away on March 24, 2022, while in the capable and compassionate care of Covenant Care hospice in Pensacola, Florida. He was born February 21, 1953, in Pensacola, Florida, to Robert and Ellen Burke.
Phillip is preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Wanda “Sue” Story and Phyllis Bottomlee.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara (Dewberry) Burke, of Milton, Florida; daughters, Jessica (David) Whittle and Kelly (Joshua) Pulliam, both of Milton, Florida; grandchildren, Landon, Tyler, and Lexi Pulliam; and sister, Vonda (David) Golden, of Odessa, Texas.
A private memorial service will be scheduled at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Covenant Care.
