Janie Tate, 86, of Pensacola, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 17, 2022. She was born in Evergreen, Alabama on February 15, 1936.
Janie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
Janie is preceded in death by her sons, Eddie and Hurley Banks; grandchildren, Kebin Copeland, Brandon Reddick, Brian Speights.
Janie Tate is survived by her children, Leonard Durant, Willie Durant (Margret Ann), Edna Durant, Abraham Young, Charles Bank, Janic Reddick Smith (Anthony), Ollie Durant, and Rama Montgomery; grandchildren, Edna Lester, Romona Durant, Anne Marie Young, Clarisa Davis, Kolandra Coleman, Kourtney Johnson, Brandon Speights, Brittney Reddick, and Tyra Smith; a host of great-grandchildren and great great- grandchildren.
