Jodie Theodore Newton 86, lifelong resident of Pensacola, FL passed away on January 26 surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.
He was an avid fisherman, a wonderful father and a great friend to many. He served in the Marine Corps and retired from International Paper Mill after 40 + years of service.
He is preceded in death by: Father, Jodie Newton, Mother, Mattie Lou Newton and sister, Exie Ann Davis.
Survived by: Wife, Arland Gaye Newton, Son, Michael Newton, Daughter, Tracey Newton ( Kimberly Bryant), Niece, Robin Chase ( Arthur) Nephew, Robert Davis Jr ( Jill ) , Brother in law, Robert Davis Sr, Chaurcley Cook ( Richard ), Budda Fillingim ( Earlene) and Francis Gilley.
