John William Reese (Jack), 77, of Pensacola, FL passed away peacefully on January 24, 2021. He was born on July 25, 1943 to the late John and Eleanor (Grout) Reese.
He graduated from Harter High School in 1961. He worked for General Motors, Ironworkers Local #404 from Harrisburg, and later in the construction business around the Wyoming Valley before moving to Pensacola. There he worked for an Auto Auction until a stroke in 2014 caused him to retire.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years, Violet Robinson Reese who passed away May 20, 2020; sister, Judie (Ken) Rowlands, and Gail (Mike) Shipkowski.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Dale) Williams, Shelly Reese, Gina (Jeff) Bergman, and Tina (Dusty) Wellborn; grandchildren, Kyle (Jill) Williams, Devin Williams, Cheyenne (Scott) Johnson, Kaleigh (Ashton) Coates, Patrick Wellborn, Haley Bergman, and Grant Bergman; great grandchildren, Florence Williams, and Theodore Coates; former wife, Luella Reese; cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters-in-law, and many friends.
