Obituary for John L Weldon
John Leonard Weldon, 68, of Pensacola, FL passed away peacefully on April 30, 2021. He was born in Pensacola, FL on July 16, 1952 to his parents, Leonard and Dorothy Weldon. Later joined by his brother, Jerry Weldon and his sister, Wanda Weldon-Patterson.
In his early adult life, he met and married Vicki McClure and had two children, Aimee Michelle Weldon- Atwell and John Christopher Weldon. Later, he met the love of his life, Wanda Maone, with whom he spent the rest of her life, as she preceded him in death. He has now joined her in heaven.
He is survived by his younger siblings, Jerry Weldon, and Wanda Weldon- Patterson; his children, Aimee Weldon-Atwell, John Christopher Weldon (wife Kathrine Weldon); his stepson, Joseph Maone; his grandchildren, Matthew Maone, Jennifer Weldon, Zachary Weldon, Kayla Weldon, Alyssa Weldon, and Jaime Atwell; and his great grandson, Abel Weldon.
May he always remain in our memories as Daddy, PopPop and Honey.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 5 at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Pensacola. The visitation will start at 4:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 5:00 p.m.
