Obituary for Larrel Edward Harville

Larrel Edward Harville, 76, of Lillian, Alabama, passed away on December 6, 2022. He was born July 29, 1946 in Fayette County, Alabama to parents John Harville and Claudine McCool Harville. He moved to Chicago with the family in 1950 where he attended Tilton Elementary and Marshall High School.
As a teenager he met the love of his life, Elizabeth A. Novak and made her his wife on March 5, 1966. He entered the United States Army in 1966 and served in Germany until 1968 when he returned to re-join his wife, Elizabeth. Larrel and Elizabeth raised three children in Berwyn, Illinois while he worked as a supply coordinator for Electro Motive Division of General Motors.
He retired in 1991 and re-located to Pensacola, Florida with the family and eventually moved to Lillian, Alabama where he spent the last years of his life.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Claudine; brothers, Wayne and Doug; father, John; wife Elizabeth; and his sister, Julie.
Larrel is survived by his daughter, Kelly; sons, Robert and Timothy; sister, Sandee Perez; brother, Jay; and sister, Margie Klein.
He loved sports, golden oldies music, classic cars, fishing, and collectibles. He was a dedicated family man with a huge blood family and an even bigger extended chosen family. He was everything to everybody and will be truly missed by all.
The visitation will be held Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Trahan Family Funeral Home at 1:00p.m. Service will follow at 2:00, with a reception after
