Obituary for Lillie Mae Williams

Lillie Mae Moultrie, 74, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on September 10, 2022 at Rosewood Manor. She was born in Pensacola on March 12, 1948 to her parents, of the late Ned and Mary Moultrie. Lillie M. Williams was educated in the Escambia County school system. She graduated from Booker T. Washington, Class of 1965.
Lillie lived most of her life in Pensacola. She was well known for her passion to crochet and was a published poetry writer. Lillie was a devoted mother and adopted grandmother. Lillie was blessed with a large and loving family.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mizell Williams III; sisters, Fannie Mae Taylor, and Annie Mae Graham; brothers, Ned Moultrie, Jr, Eugene Moultrie, Charles Edward Moultrie and John Wayne Moultrie; ex-husband, Mizell Williams, Jr.
Lillie is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Williams of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Ethel McBride, Mildred Moultrie, Brenda Toney of Pensacola, FL, Willie Ann Moultrie of Dallas, GA, Linda Isaac (Milton) of Arlington, TX, Beverly Lawrence (George) , Pearl Moultrie of Miramar, FL. and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to her siblings, family members and friends of Lillie M. Williams for their comforting words, the deeds of kindness and prayers.
A Memorial service for Lillie will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022. The visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Trahan Family Funeral Home.
