Linda Marie Ness was a unique daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend who left this world too soon! Born in Pensacola and raised in Chicago, she moved back home to marry and raise her two beloved children, Shannon Barlow (Jeff) and Shane Norris. She was also blessed with two grandchildren, Caymen Barlow and Miley Norris. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery on Thursday, April 21, 2022. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Hospital or Pensacola Humane Society.

Preceded in death by beloved parents George & Marie Herbert, and husband George Ness, she leaves behind sister Pamela Busch (Bill) and brother Richard Herbert (Miriam) along with beloved children and grandchildren listed above. She also leaves the father of her children, David Norris, along with cousins Judy Muldoon, Betty Joyce Potter (Ernest), & Sheila Myrick- who were more like sisters-- as well as many more beloved cousins and friends too numerous to list.
