Obituary for Marvin Leslie "Pete" Griffin

Marvin Leslie “Pete” Griffin, 29, left this world on March 25th. Pete was born on September 15th, 1993, in Santa Rosa County to his parents Jeremy Griffin and Stephine Diaz. He learned to fish and swim before he could walk, spending as much time as possible in and on the Blackwater River. As a child he could often be seen at dawn behind his grandparents' house with a fishing pole in his hand. As he grew older, he learned to hunt and when not working he could be found either in the woods, on the water or working with his dogs. His life revolved around hunting, fishing, and running dogs. Pete was able to find an amazing woman Sabrina and he has spent the last 11 years sharing his life with she, Breanna, and Tucker. The family spent their time together on the water and in the woods enjoying being together. Pete Griffin enriched the lives of those around him and he will be deeply missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Butch Auston and Rena Carol. Pete is survived by his parents Jeremy Griffin and Stephine Diaz, wife and life partner Sabrina Price and children Breanna Sweeney and Tucker Price. Sisters: Ashton and Alexys Griffin, brother Daniel Diaz (Nia) uncles: Benjamin Griffin, (Miriam), Brooks Taylor and Eric Auston, Aunt Sarah (Austin) Fisher Great-grandmother Betty Carol Taylor, grandparents Skipper and Carlisle Griffin, and Chris Cotton. Nieces: Christina and Trinity; Cousins: Abby and Taft Auston, Brianna (Luke) Johnson, Lauren (Patrick) Gilbert, and Rilynn Fisher. Pete also leaves behind many close friends whom he cherished.
