Melissa Ann Godwin Britton, 42, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on August 13, 2022 at 3:00 a.m. She was born in Pensacola to her parents, Tracy Godwin and Joe Godwin. She was a waitress at Waffle House in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Melissa was preceded in death by her dad, Joe Godwin; daughter, Analyssa Britton; grandmother, Nancy Wright.
She is survived by her sons, Jeramy (McKayla) Lovelady and John Britton; daughters, Caitlyn (Joseph) Stewart, Abbigail Britton, Breanna Britton and Graceland; sister, Rita (Dewey) Lovelady and Cassie Wallace; nine grandchildren; Kurt Forsyth, Candace and Ryan Forsyth and other friends and family; stepchildren, Ryan, Hannah, Angel and Hunter; aunt, Deborah and Charlotte; four cousins.
A Funeral Service for Melissa will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Trahan Family Funeral Home.
