Obituary for Michelle Annette Jones
Michelle Annette Jones, age 59, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, after a long battle with COPD. Born in San Diego, California on September 17, 1963, she was the daughter to Jimmy & Loretta DeBoard. Michelle was raised in Pikeville, KY and moved to Pensacola, Florida in 2005.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Jones; her three children, Jessica Bishop, Darryl Boyd Jr., and Lisa Boyd. Michelle was an amazing Mamaw to Sophia Bishop, Mckenzie Bishop, Jacob Lewis, Darryl Boyd III, and Luke Boyd. She also leaves behind two brothers, Jimmy DeBoard Jr. and Mike DeBoard.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kylie Michelle Boyd; and lifelong friend, Darryl Boyd Sr.
Michelle’s joy in life was her family that she loved so dearly; Michelle will be missed by so many.
A visitation will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton on April 10, 2023, from 5pm until 7pm. A funeral service will be held on April 11, 2023, at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton beginning at 1pm with burial immediately following at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
