Obituary for Miles Sylvester Hidle Jr.
Miles (Tiny) Hidle, 71, of Pensacola passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Sacred Heart Hospice Care with his family by his side after fighting a long illness. Miles was born on May 28, 1949 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to his parents, Miles Hidle Sr., and Mary Hollingshead.
Miles married Felica McCollum on August 9, 1968. To this union they had a daughter Tina (Alan) Macks; granddaughters, Brittany Dunsford and Mercades Hidle; and 3 great grandchildren.
On July 28, 2000 Miles married Cheri Creel and acquired two more daughters, Jennifer Little and Julie Creel; and grandchildren Lakota and Nikolai.
Miles' greatest love was his family as their love for him. He was the rock of the family with his quiet nature and great sense of humor. He was a devoted Elvis fan and loved to strum the guitar. Miles served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 - 1971. He also drove an 18-wheeler for many years.

A graveside service will be held Monday, April 19, 2021 at Holy Cross Cemetery. The visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
