Obituary for Min Vi Luz Jiao Yabut
Min Vi Luz Yabut, 86, of Pensacola, Florida passed away peacefully on March 8, 2021. She was born on August 6, 1934 in Nueva Ecija, Philippines to Consuelo Miguel and Arsenio Jiao.
Min Vi Luz worked as a Nurse’s Aide, Chef and held various positions in the culinary field. She had a deep love for cooking Filipino food. She always put her children before herself. She instilled within them the importance of family and unconditional love.
Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, fishing, and crabbing.
She is survived by her Children: Francisco Yabut, Michael Yabut, Lindi Messina and Aaron Yabut; Grandchildren: Aden Yabut, Chanel Yabut, Alexa Messina, Sophia Yabut and Luke Yabut; Daughter in Law’s: Michelle Yabut and Melissa Yabut; Son in Law: Thomas Messina; Ex-husband: Frank Yabut
We will be honoring Min Vi Luz’s life with a Mass at St. Anne’s Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021 with a burial to follow at Pensacola Memorial Garden.
