Nelda Faye Greene (Mama Faye)
December 18, 1940 – March 4, 2021
Nelda Faye Greene, 80, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 4, 2021. She was a native to Pensacola, FL born on December 18, 1940 to her parents, Woodrow and Nell Morgan.
Nelda graduated from Pensacola High School and went on to work as an Administrative Assistant to Hawkins, Welch, Cobb Investments. She was a member of West Pensacola Baptist Church. She served as a children’s Sunday School teacher and choir member.
Nelda is preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe Greene; parents, Woodrow and Nell Morgan; son, Kenneth Lamar Greene; and 3 brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her daughter, Teresa (Gary) Greene Lewis; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers; as well as countless loved ones and friends.

Services will be Monday, March 8, 2021 at West Pensacola Baptist Church. The visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, with the service following at 2:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Bayview Cemetery.
Nelda was a special Lady who loved many and was loved by many. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be missed dearly.
