Phillip George Clark

October 4th, 1942 - March 15th, 2024

Phillip George Clark, 81 of Pensacola, FL passed away on Friday, March 15th, 2024. He was born in Johnson City, Tn on October 4th, 1942 to his parents, Jacob Clark and Edith Phillips Clark. Phillip was the youngest out of eight children.
He graduated from Jonesborough high school 1960. Phillip was very active in high school playing varsity football and varsity basketball, a member of the FFA, student activities club, J club, and the key club. He even was voted class favorite of graduating class.

Phillip continued his education and graduated from East TN State University earning his associate degree. He began his career as a respiratory therapist, later received RRT.
Phillip moved to Pensacola and opened his own janitorial company, lawn maintenance, and construction company. Some of the hobbies he enjoyed were painting, listening to music avid, coin collector, and was a huge Tennessee Vols fan.
He was preceded in death by his mother; father; siblings; and son, Jacob Phillip Clark.
Phillip is survived by his son, Greg (Gina) Clark; daughter, Rebecca (Jonathan) Purkey; grandchildren, Garrett (Kelsey) Clark, Grace Ann Clark, Logan Clark, and Joshua Purkey; one great grandchild, Colten Clark.

A memorial service will held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, 60 Industrial Blvd., Pensacola, FL. The family invites friends to join them beginning at 4:30 p.m. and the service will follow at 5:00 p.m.
