Randy Michael Mathias passed away peacefully on Sat., April 3, 2021 at the age of 49.
Born to Donald and Faye Mathias on December 26, 1971 in Michigan. However, he spent most of his life growing up in Florida. Randy graduated from Lake Howell High School in 1991 where he met his beloved wife Corinne, and later welcomed a daughter, Randa.
Randy worked as a Tow Truck operator for almost 30 years, helping rescue stranded motorists. He also completed the Police Academy at Seminole State College in hopes of serving the community further. He loved loud music, motorcycles, fishing, socializing with loved ones, and befriending every animal he met.
Randy devoted his life to helping others, living his life putting others before himself, helping wherever he could no matter how big or small. He gladly took part in many philanthropic events, helping raise awareness for breast cancer research and working with the ASPCA. Randy served his family, working tirelessly to support his wife who struggled with medical issues throughout her life.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Corinne Stacey Mathias; as well as his parents.
Randy is survived by his daughter, Randa Mathias; brothers, Richard and Gary Mathias; brother in love, Shannon Stacey; sister in love, Jessie McQueen; and many beloved in-laws. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and coworkers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Victory Assembly of God in Cantonment, FL. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Family requests that attendees wear what they feel most comfortable in, bright colors are welcome, in honor of Randy’s wish for everyone to be comfortable around him.
