Obituary for Raymond Claude Dean

Raymond C. Dean, 59, of Pensacola and Milton areas was called home Sunday, May 16, 2021. Raymond was born October 7, 1961 and attended Pace High School. He worked as a Small Engine Mechanic at Anderson Equipment in Milton for over 25 years helping many people with his knowledge of the business and earning the nickname "The Wizard".
When Ray was not working, he enjoyed relaxing on his weekends, fishing and being outdoors, tinkering, completing jigsaw puzzles and watching videos on his phone. Raymond was known to crack open a cold one and loved to surround himself with family, friends, good food and rock-n-roll music.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Sudie Dean and James Dean, and very special friend and brother, Randy Johnson.
Raymond is survived by his children and grandchild that he loved and supported very much. Daughter, Messina Dean; son, William Jackson; grandson, Tyler Jackson; brother, Gerry Dean; sister, Sandra Johnson; nephews, Wesley Johnson and Colton Johnson; also, like family to Raymond were close friends Greg Parker, Jeff McKamey, Loria Dean, George Self and Ken Self.
He was so much more than a sweet, amazing Dad, Pawpaw, Brother, Uncle, Teacher and Friend. Raymond's heart reached beyond what his arms could and will continue to do so for the rest of our lives.
Message from the family - Thank you all for loving my sweet Dad and being his friends. There are few things that he loved more than the enrichment you all brought his into life.
